Wedding Inspiration

As you can imagine, especially since I am a wedding photographer, when I was planning my own wedding I compiled quite the collection of inspiration images. All 576 of them are still sitting in a file on my desktop, so I thought I’d do a few posts sharing some, hopefully to inspire you as well! When I first snagged them, I did not note the sources, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to post these, but there is an amazing website called TinEye which allows you to upload the image and locate where its from. I’m not sure how they do it, but I’m thankful!

Photos from: 1,2, 8 and 9. Jose Villa 3. The Green Bride Guide 4. and 7. The Knotty Bride, 5, 6 and 10. Cooper Carras 11. Unknown

1 and 2. I love the vintage vibe of the guy with his suspenders, bowtie and shoes. And the color in the flowers next to the color in the gate? To die for!

3. What a delicious and lovely placemarker! It reminds me of these shots of my engagement ring.

4. Pink peonies. Swoon! Quite possibly the most perfect wedding flower (IMHO.) Of course, the place where I got married has famous peony gardens, and when I saw them, I knew I HAD to have pink peonies in my bouquet, even though they would be out of season and pricey in September.

5. Love the texture of felt, love the DIY-ness of this handmade ring bearer pillow. Have loved the fabric flower boutonneires and other wedding accessories that have cropped up everywhere.

7. Mm. Love those bows.

9. I have always loved peacocks. If you can have some at your wedding reception, just wandering around, I think you should. Except I think those things can be mean!

10. I pretty much love anything handmade out of assorted scrapbook papers, and these pinwheels are no exception!

11. Typewriter guestbook? So vintage and lovely!

More to come! Hope you’re inspired!
