Sarah’s Senior Pics

Sarah is my cousin, and so I remember her wearing her hair up on top of her head and toddling around. And then I remember her carrying a book with her wherever she went–nose stuck in it while she ate dinner even. And now I remember her as a pretty, grown up senior in high school. Sarah (along with her younger sister Allison) just competed in the Junior Olympics for baton twirling and brought home all kinds of medals.

All us cousins and aunts and uncles and everybody headed to my grandma’s house down in southern Missouri. Her house overlooks a river, and we spent many a summer weekend growing up waterskiing behind the boat on Bull Shoals Lake. Lee had never been to Grammy’s house, and so it was really special for us all to be there and partake in all the traditions from our childhood. Sarah asked me to take her senior pics for her, and we had a great time traipsing around Grammy’s yard, down by the river and a few other spots to make these images. Have a great senior year, Sarah!
