Welcome to my blog!

My name is Jessica (Grace) Lagomarcino and I am a wedding photographer living in Louisville, KY. That handsome man you see there is my new husband, Lee. You'll probably see a lot of him on the blog, because, well... I just can't help it. We were just married on Sept 5th, and so brides, I understand about these things!! Weddings can be crazy (but so, so wonderful!) and I think that choosing a photographer who you genuinely like and trust is very important. Your photographer is around for the whole day, and so actually being friends with that person is a major bonus! I love getting to know my brides and I absolutely love creating images that capture the emotion, personality, and character of the most wonderful day of your life thus far! Another thrill for me is taking those images and making them even better in the editing process, and creating art you will be stunned with and will treasure for a lifetime. Weddings go by so quickly, and so I hope you will entrust me with the privilege of capturing forever both the moments you might have forgotten, and the moments you'll never forget.

This couple is super sweet, but when I see their names, it always jars me a little. My sister’s name is Amy, and my brother’s name is Chris– so seeing the two names together like that always weirds me out for a secondAnd to make things even crazier, Amy has almost exactly the same maiden name as me and my sister! Weiiird.

I had a great time with these two, and they were so flexible and easy to work with. Chris was a great navigator for us as we drove around downtown and I would yell “Okay, lets stop right here!” Can’t wait for y’all’s big day in 2012!

While we were shooting down by the water, I noticed that from the angle of where we were, this statue made the letter “A,” which will be the initial of their last name! Gotta love happy coincidences like that!

You know the song “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart!” (Where?)I almost start singing that song when I think of my friend Michelle. She is beautiful on the inside and out, and just full of joy. There’s much I could say about a friend like her. I’m just thrilled I got to capture her beauty in the way that I know best. Jennifer and Scott made my job easy. They are a gorgeous couple and they are fun and easy to get along with. I kept remarking throughout the session about how Jennifer was seriously working it. About halfway through, I was like dang, girl, are you a model or something? Well, turns out, she was. Haha, so, like I said, she made my job easy.
